poverty doesn't have to be permanent

The Salvation Army helps people in need overcome poverty through a variety of programs.  We are breaking the cycle and changing lives for GOOD.

Phoenix Family Services IMPACT 2023

2707 E Van Buren, Building 2

Phoenix, AZ 85008

Every Child Deserves a Childhood

We open our arms and our hearts to give families the support they need

to grow together and thrive.

Poverty is so often the result of - and the catalyst for - chronic struggles with hunger, addiction, housing insecurity, mental illness, unemployment, educational voids and various forms of abuse. These interconnected struggles continue year after year, and often span generations. That's why The Salvation Army works to meet the needs of the whole person through short and long-term assistance - first alleviating the symptoms of poverty and then addressing the root issues that cause it.

We of course would love to be able to assist each person facing financial challenges, however in most instances it is on a case by case basis, and always dependent upon available funds.
